You can tell they are quite authentic about their food preparation and can watch them steaming dumplings at the counter. The food is excellent, with the trademarks of Xi'an cuisine.

Xian cuisine uses different flavors than more well known Cantonese or Mandarin specialties. I was delighted to see that they had a cold noodle salad which is a well known classic.

We stumbled upon this food-hall and tried the food choices. I've never had this type of cuisine before but I love noodles. My hubby had the fried lamb sandwich. We both loved it!

Great, super-tasty food. We had lamb, beef and dumplings... all very well prepared, tasty, home-made kind of food. I would highly recommend the Lamb Cumin Noodles.

From what we tried, Xi'an Express seems to use very fresh, very high quality ingredients prepared with a great deal of care. I'm coming back for everything else that's on the menu.

I tried Xi'an Express and got their Pan Fried Dumplings which were good! There was good flavor and the skin was a little crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside.
